Over Labor Day Weekend, Fremont Street Experience (vegasexperience.com) celebrated the last weekend of summer with an incredible lineup as part of the six-block entertainment district’s free Downtown Rocks concert series.
On Friday, Aug. 30, fans gathered at 3rd Street Stage as Grammy Award-winning rock band, The Wallflowers took the stage to perform chart-topping hits including “6th Avenue Heartache,” “Bringing Down the Horse” and “One Headlight.”
Later in the week, party goers stepped into a musical time machine during I Love the ‘90s featuring Vanilla Ice, Montell Jordan, All-4-One, Tone Loc and Coolio on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Revelers sang along to their favorite hits of the ‘90s including “Ice, Ice Baby,” “This is How We Do It,” “I Swear,” “Wild Thing” and “Gangsta’s Paradise.”
The Downtown Rocks concert series will continue to entertain fans throughout the year, and upcoming free shows include:
- Sept. 14 – Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band on 3rd Street Stage
- Sept. 28 – Smash Mouth on 3rd Street Stage
- Oct. 19 – Muddfest featuring Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Trapt, Saving Abel and Tantric on 3rd Street Stage
