Zappos Creates Closets For Good In Some Of Clark Counties Neediest Schools

All it took was one day for Marcella, a Zappos employee turned principal for the day, to see that something needed to be done for kids at Rundle Elementary School. Almost 30% of the kids that attend Rundle are considered homeless, lacking the nutrition and supplies to properly attend and engage in school. Marcella took it upon herself to ask Zappos to step in, and step in they did. They started 'Closets For Good', the closet is full of clothes, shoes, and school supplies. It even has basic necessities for families like shampoo, toilet paper, and food. It's stocked by the staff at Zappos--and completely free to families. Zappos eventually hope that their customers can contribute to help filling these closets in the future.
