Last year the city of Henderson decided to do a survey to measure how many of their residents love living in Henderson. They contracted ETC Institute to conduct the survey and their results were staggering! A whopping 98% of residents found Henderson a satisfying place to live and 95% found Henderson a satisfactory place to raise a family. “Past citizen surveys have helped the City of Henderson to focus strategic planning efforts and invest in areas that are important to our residents and clearly that deliberate approach is producing extraordinary results,” City Manager Richard Derrick said in a statement. 12,000 Henderson homes were selected to receive the survey and nearly 1,800 responded. Henderson rated well above the national average in overall quality of city services and value received for city taxes and fees. Respondents indicated their top priorities for the city were a focus on infrastructure and roadways and crime prevention.
