Ten years ago who would have thought that kids would be visiting ancient wall paintings in South America and examining the printing press in the height of the industrial revolution, all without taking a step out of their local classroom. Burkholder Middle School in Henderson Nevada is one of the few schools in the country that has fully embraced this new technological age and has begun implementing Virtual Reality technology in their classrooms. So far this year kids have visited wall painting in Brazil and murals in France just to name a few. The children have really taken an extreme liking to it and the excitement should be contagious to kids at other schools who are patiently waiting for their schools to follow suit.
