Mt. Charleston is looking for volunteers to help plant 3,300 ponderosa pine saplings on this Saturday, October 24th, between 8:30am and 4:00pm.

We need MANY hands to plant 3300 Ponderosa Pine saplings this Saturday, Oct 24! Join us any time between 8:30am and 4pm to help plant ponderosa saplings around Cathedral Rock Picnic Area. No need to register in advance, just meet us in the group picnic area parking lot of Cathedral Rock Picnic Area.
If you have work gloves, your own shovel, and/or a watering can, please bring them; otherwise we will have equipment for you. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but keep in mind that we’ll be working in a hilly, unpaved area.
* Please remember to wear a mask, long pants, closed-toed shoes, and bring water. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch if you want to spend the day in the crisp mountain air among the bright fall colors.
