Starting tomorrow, certain businesses will be able to open with restrictions. Business types include:
- Nail salons
- Cannabis dispensaries.
Although restaurants will now be open for dine-in, curbside pickup and delivery is still encouraged. Restaurants must not exceed 50% occupancy and tables and booths must be 6 feet apart. Employees must wears masks and patrons are encouraged to do so as well. Bars and taverns that serve food will be able to open but the bar area must remain closed. Reservations are encouraged and patrons waiting for a table should wait outside.
Salons, barbershops, and nail salons will serve their customers by appointment only. Every other chair must be used, unless there are partitions. All employees must wear masks and patrons are encouraged to do so as well.
Curbside pickup and delivery is encouraged for retailers and dispensaries. Outdoor malls are able to reopen with strict guidelines and indoor malls can reopen with curbside pickup but shoppers will not be able to enter.
Phase 1 will last 2 to 3 weeks, unless there's a spike in new cases of the virus, which would push back the timetable. Dispensaries may also be able to open for in-store sales after submitting a plan and receiving approval from Marijuana Enforcement Division.
