Groundhog 5k at Bill Briare Park

  • We think Groundhog Day is undercelebrated. We also think the movie was an instant classic. To honor both, we're hosting the Groundhog Day 5k. Run on the paved trails at Bill Briare Park in Las Vegas, you'll experience bits of the movie on each lap of the course! There may also be a special visit from Punxatawney Phil himself!

Preparing Your Spring Garden Workshop at Winchester Dondero Cultural Center

Adobe Brick Demonstration at Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort

  • Dating all the way back to the 7th century, listen to renowned sensei Kika Shibata’s wisdom as she walks you through this imaginative and beautiful craft of traditional Japanese flower arrangement. While taught in a multitude of styles and configurations, sensei Shibata makes the class intuitive, fun, and exciting for newcomers and veterans of the art alike with her natural skill and her focus of the traditional aspects of bring only the most natural of components unto the piece that is being created.

King Ibu : West African Folk Music at Winchester Dondero Cultural Center
