Southwest's New Emotional Support Animal Policy

Southwest announced that beginning Sept. 17th, only cats, and dogs will be allowed as emotional support animals on flights.

The change is due to an increase in people bringing exotic animals and pets onboard under the guise of emotional support animals.

I'm not a frequent Southwest flyer only because I haven't found a lot of fares that work for where and when I want to go but totally agree with this policy!  No, you can't bring your emotional support peacock on the flight.
