5 Ways To Reduce Your Grocery Bill

One of the hardest realizations in adulating is discovering how expensive groceries actually are. My goodness! But, there are some cash-saving tips you can take to help you reduce your weekly grocery bill.

  1. Look at your bill. It’s important to know how much you’re really spending and if you’re really using everything you buy or if it’s just ending up in the garbage at the end of the week.
  2. Buy non-prepared foods. These foods typically tend to be more expensive. It will take you more time to cook things yourself, but buying ground beef to make burgers usually ends up cheaper than buying frozen burgers.
  3. Eat leftovers. Turn extras from dinner the night before into lunch the next day! The money you spent on one meal can actually stretch to two or three meals.
  4. Use apps. Lots of grocery retailers have apps now that include coupons you can digitally cut and add to your card.
  5. Get cashback credit cards and coupons. There’s tons of credit cards that give you extra cash back or points on groceries. If opening another credit card is not what you want, there are coupon-saving sites like Ibotta, BeFrugal, and Rakuten.
