Monstro the goldfish is big deal on TikTok right now. According to Upworthy, artist Lacey Scott found the 10-year-old telescope goldfish in horrible shape at a pet store. Sick and dying, he had turned black, developed lesions on his underside, and could no longer swim. Scott took him home and set about trying to get him better. She set up a shallow hospital tank for him, did daily water changes, and got him eating again. When he was finally strong enough to move to a larger tank with some friends, his color improved along with his spirits.
