Watch Jon Bon Jovi Duet With Billy Joel At Madison Square Garden

Jon Bon Jovi became the latest rockstar to surprise a sold-out Billy Joel audience at Madison Square Garden, when he duetted "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" and "Big Shot" with the Piano Man on Saturday night.

Joel was delivering his 72nd consecutive monthly performance at The Garden as part of his record-breaking residency there.

The New Jersey-native Bon Jovi received a chorus of cheers when he was introduced by Joel as the band began to play "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me."

The pair of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers traded lines on both songs, with Joel at the piano and Bon Jovi roaming the front of the stage for each.

Joel has made a habit of bringing out special guests to join him during his shows in recent years, usually performing either his music or theirs.

In recent memory, Joel brought out John Fogerty to perform a pair of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, Aerosmith's Joe Perry to play "Walk This Way," Def Leppard's Joe Elliott to perform "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and Bruce Springsteen to perform a pair of E Street Band hits.

Joel's MSG residency has so far announced performances through this coming July.
