Not Again — Fans Think Drake Trolled Kanye West With His Hoodie

Say it ain't so! Fans are convinced Drake reignited his beef with Kanye West after he wore a hoodie that mentions Mr. West.

Over the weekend, the Canadian rapper wore a Cactus Flea Market hoodie that reads "Ye Must Be Born Again" to a Lil Keed show in Los Angeles. After the "Money In The Grave" rapper shared two photos of him wearing the hoodie to Instagram, fans began speculating that the 'fit was more than just concert attire, but rather a fashion statement trolling Ye given the rappers' complicated history.

As fans know, Drake and Ye are more enemies than friends and have a long history of beefing, which came to a head in December 2018. Kanye lashed out at Drake on Twitter after receiving a text asking for clearance to perform/use the song "Say What’s Real," a song originally by Kanye ("Say You Will") that was remixed by Drake in 2009. Ye's rant touched on a number of topics, including the rumor he told Pusha T about Drake's secret son, the "God's Plan" rapper's Yeezy diss on "No Stylist," Ye's belief that the Drake still owes him an apology, and a long list of Ye's personal grievances. Kanye even accused Drake of threatening his family, which led to an even bigger Twitter rant involving Travis Scott and Kim Kardashian.

Since the two never made peace publicly, it explains why many were shocked by Drake's choice of attire. The hoodie itself was slammed for dissing Ye when it dropped in January 2019. Given that it was released in the weeks following Ye's now-infamous rant, many believed it was targeting Kanye. However, the brand told Highsnobiety that it just meant that to start the new year with a "fresh start" and Ye is actually a biblical reference, meaning "you."
