Pete Davidson's Exes React To Ariana Grande's Engagement With Jokes

Earlier this week, the public learned that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got engaged after only a few weeks of dating.

When fans learned about the upcoming nuptials, many were naturally shocked. It was just last month that Grande broke up with her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. On top of that, Davidson was just coming out of a two-year relationship, as well.

An insider previously told PEOPLE: “It’s a recent engagement. They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding.”

Now, more developments about the two's relationship are coming out. After hearing about the recent celeb engagement, two of Davidson's ex-girlfriends have reacted to it on social media. Comedian Carly Aquilino, who dated him in 2015, posted a couple text exchanges on her IG story after the news broke. “I know I’m the 9 billionth person to text you today about this, but… I can’t,” a friend wrote her. Aquilino replied, “HAHHAHAHAAH.” The comedian captioned the screenshot of the exchange, “My day in a text message.”

In a second text chain, Aquilino texted a heart emoji to someone and didn't get a reply. “MY LOVE LIFE GOING GREAT,” she said about that, along with phrases like “I quit,” “Social life: 404 not found” and “Cries into my burger.” See those messages below.

Cazzie David, the daughter of Larry David, also reacted to Grande and Davidson's engagement. Cazzie is the ex who Davidson dated on and off for two years, and broke up for good with in May. "Came to wine country a person, leaving a human bottle of wine," she said on IG. See that message below.
