12 of the Best Television Couples of All Time

Valentine's Day is upon us once again. For those of us who don't have any plans to Netflix and chill with our partners tonight, we have a better way for you to celebrate love. Go back and relive the beautiful romances of your favorite fictional characters. From Jim and Pam's sweet workplace love story  on The Office to the star crossed Jack and Rebecca from This Is Us, there are so many binge-worthy rabbit holes you can fall down this Valentine's Day. You can even skip from show to show, visiting only the episodes where the will-they-won't-they couples finally get together.

We put together a list of twelve of the best television couples of all for you; so, you can revel in their adorable love stories...even if you'll be spending this Valentine's Day solo. Hey, nobody ever said you can't appreciate a romantic story line even if you're single and not ready to mingle. There are no rules against that, so, enjoy these beautiful, sometimes tragic, and ultimately binge-worthy TV couples.

1) Jim and Pam (The Office)

Is there anything more painful than when Pam shuts down Jim after he confesses his love for her in "Casino Night"? Nope, didn't think so. Despite this hiccup early on in their relationship, Jim and Pam ultimately find their way back to each other after Jim moves to Stamford to get over Pam. They bloomed into one of favorite TV couples and then into one of our favorite TV families.

2) Nick and Jess (New Girl)

Nick and Jess from New Girl are one of those TV couples that you either love or hate. To be honest, they're at their best as TV couple when they're secretly pining for each other. It will be interesting to see what their relationship looks like when New Girl comes back for it's sixth and final season. We'll be rooting for them.

3) Josh and Donna (The West Wing)

The writers of The West Wing really pushed Josh and Donna to the limits of the will-they-won't-they dynamic. I had all but given up hope that these two would ever get together by the time the seventh and final season rolled around. Finally, though, Josh and Donna got it together enough to admit that they had been in love with each other all along.

4) Cory and Topanga (Boy Meets World)

Cory and Topanga has basically become shorthand for "beloved fictional couple." Fans of Boy Meets World got to see them grow up together, fall in love, and get married, making these characters feel extremely real. With the Girl Meets World reboot, fans were treated to a chance to revisit their favorite couple as adults.

5) Jamie and Claire (Outlander)

Jamie and Claire are hands down one of the best television couples ever. Their story is epic, spanning generations and continents. Their passion and chemistry is palpable. I mean, what else do you need people?! If you haven't watched Outlander, you're seriously missing out.

6) April and Andy (Parks and Recreation)

April and Andy were the most pure, delightful part of Parks and Recreation. Their sweet, surprising, and hilarious love story is one for their ages.

7) Monica and Chandler (Friends)

Ross and Rachel are great (not really), but Monica and Chandler had the best relationship on Friends. No question. Look, if Monica had a job opportunity in Paris...Chandler would have gotten on the plane. He wouldn't have made Monica get off. That is all.

8) Meredith and Derek (Grey's Anatomy)

9) Mitch and Cam (Modern Family)

This clip pretty much says it all. Cam and Mitch are television trailblazers, of course, but we love them for their hilarious banter and undeniable chemistry. Modern Family just wouldn't be the same without them.

10) Roseanne and Dan (Roseanne)

Just like Cory and Topanga, fans of Roseanne will be able to revisit their favorite TV couple when the show comes back for a new season. The best part, though, is that they're literally bring John Goodman's character back from the dead. For those whose hearts were broken by the original Roseanne finale, Dan and Roseanne are about to put the pieces back together again.

11) Rainbow and Dre (Black-ish)

Rainbow and Drew are literal couple goals. These two are always supportive of each other, know when to call each other out, and make us laugh every episode.

12) Jack and Rebecca (This Is Us)

We won't even go into this one too much. IT'S STILL TOO SOON AND WE'RE NOT OVER JACK'S DEATH YET, OKAY? We will say, though, this is one television couple that has made us feel every emotion possible and we love them as much as Jack loves Rebecca.
