Las Vegas family reunited with family pet that was found a state away

Ryder, a 9-year-old Chihuahua mix and family pet, was found on Thursday a state away in San Diego after escaping the yard at the beginning of July. The Ferris family was overjoyed to be reunited with their family pet. They posted flyers and pictures online in the hope of finding their dog. The Chichihua was found outside of a Ross in El Cajon, San Diego. The family then received a call that Ryder had been turned in. Due to Ryder's microchip, he was found safe and as quickly as possible; without it, the family believes they wouldn't have found him. The Ferris Family went to San Diego to retrieve their dog from San Diego's Human Society in El Cajon. They were happy to celebrate the end of the 3-week search for their beloved family pet.
