2021 Give A Thon
When: Main day of giving is Tuesday, November 16, 2021 starting at 8 am PST. Giving period runs through Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 12 noon.
On November 16, MGM Resorts will match donations up to the first $20,000!
On November 19, another match opportunity: Credit One Bank will match all donations up to $20,000!
For: U.S.VETS – Las Vegas, a local non-profit organization whose mission is the successful transition of military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support. The organization operates over 300 beds of transitional and permanent housing to veterans who are homeless. The organization also provides financial assistance for homeless prevention and rapid rehousing for veteran families, and helps approximately 100 veterans return to employment every year.
What: Raising $150,000 to support veterans who are experiencing homelessness or who are at-risk of becoming homeless. Funds donated during the Give A Thon will directly support services and programs provided by U.S.VETS – Las Vegas, ranging from street outreach to housing, life skills training, employment assistance, and eviction prevention.
